Germany imposes a 3-year entry ban on Austrian far-right figure Martin Sellner for promoting "remigration."
Germany has issued a three-year entry ban on Austrian far-right figure Martin Sellner, a prominent member of the Identitarian Movement. Sellner has been known for promoting "remigration," or the deportation of immigrants. The ban comes after Sellner presented his "remigration" vision at a meeting of nationalist populists in Potsdam, Germany, which sparked large protests against populism in the country. The meeting also faced criticism from the Alternative for Germany party, some of whose members reportedly attended the event.
