Edo State Assembly directs Chief Judge to establish a panel to investigate Deputy Governor Shaibu for alleged gross misconduct.

The Edo State House of Assembly has directed the state's Chief Judge to set up a seven-man panel to investigate allegations of gross misconduct against Deputy Governor Philip Shaibu. The Assembly passed a resolution regarding the impeachment process against Shaibu after his alleged evasion of service of the impeachment notice. The panel will investigate the allegations and make recommendations.
