Denmark's Novo Nordisk Foundation, backed by Novo Nordisk A/S, partners with Nvidia to create a powerful AI supercomputer called Gefion. Funded by the Novo foundation and Denmark's Export and Investment Fund, Gefion will be one of the world's most powerful machines, running on Nvidia's AI technology. Researchers from Denmark's public and private sectors can access the supercomputer, which aims to accelerate research and innovation in healthcare, life sciences, and the green transition, and is expected to be operational by the end of 2024.
