Chinese car brand Jac Motors is launching its T9 ute in Australia in April, offering an affordable option for Australian tradespeople. The T9, set to compete with vehicles like the GWM Cannon, SsangYong Musso, Mitsubishi Triton, and Toyota HiLux, will be priced from $42,662 for the base Oasis grade and $45,630 for the fully-loaded Haven model. The T9, powered by a 2.0-liter turbo diesel engine, offers a one-tonne payload and a braked towing capacity of 3,500 kg, along with off-road capabilities and advanced safety features. Jac Motors will also release a plug-in hybrid version in Australia next year, with an all-electric version under development.
