Campbell police officer shot and killed Miguel Agustin Nava Gomez, 31, during a domestic violence response. Gomez, with a restraining order and outstanding domestic violence warrant, fired at officers; one officer returned fire. Gomez's two children were rescued and reunited with their mother. Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office and Campbell Police Investigations Division are investigating.
