California's Yurok Tribe regains 125 acres for Redwood National and State Parks management.

California's Yurok Tribe, which lost 90% of its ancestral territory during the Gold Rush, will get back 125 acres to serve as a new gateway to Redwood National and State Parks. It is the first Native people to manage tribal land with the National Park Service, under a memorandum of understanding signed by the tribe, Redwood National and State Parks and the nonprofit Save the Redwoods League.
