American Sikh leader Jassee Singh met with Indian government officials to discuss Sikh community safety and potential contributions to India's growth.

American Sikh leader Jassee Singh from the Sikhs of America organization has reported that the Indian government assured him of its commitment to the safety and security of the Sikh community worldwide. Meeting with Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, Singh also discussed potential contributions of the Sikh diaspora to India's growth and debunked allegations of mistreatment of Sikhs in India.
