Actors Jeffrey Wright, Denzel Washington, and Spike Lee are set to collaborate on a remake of the classic Japanese thriller "High and Low", originally directed by Akira Kurosawa. The new adaptation will be directed by Lee and is set to be released theatrically by A24 before streaming on Apple TV+. Wright, recently Oscar-nominated, joins Washington in the film, which is based on the 1959 novel "King's Ransom" by Evan Hunter.
