37-year-old Irish firefighter Terrence Crosbie, a member of Dublin Fire Brigade, was arrested in Boston and charged with rape during the St Patrick's Day celebrations. The alleged victim, a 28-year-old woman, reported being sexually assaulted at the Omni Parker House hotel in Boston. Crosbie was ordered to be held on $100,000 bail, and was also ordered not to leave Massachusetts and to surrender his passport pending his next court appearance on April 16th.
