Images from drones inside a damaged Fukushima reactor reveal displaced control equipment and misshapen materials, but leave questions unanswered about the melted nuclear fuel and core. Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) released 12 images from inside the main structural support called the pedestal of the No. 1 reactor, which suffered a meltdown during the 2011 earthquake and tsunami. The drone probes aim to study ways to collect fuel debris and take other measures, but the images leave many questions unanswered.
