22-year-old Moore Park Beach man charged with 26 counts of animal cruelty after police discovered 13 live and 13 dead snakes, including pythons and green tree snakes, inside his car during a traffic stop in Bundaberg, north of Brisbane. The surviving snakes were seized by police and taken to an emergency animal hospital for treatment, then given to a local wildlife rescue organization. The man will face court next month.
