20-year-old Indian-origin man, Sree Kanth Murugan, pleaded guilty in a Singapore court to sexually assaulting a 34-year-old Indian maintenance worker whose identity is protected. The incident occurred at a housing block's void deck where Sree lived, and the victim was sleeping. Another molestation charge will be considered for sentencing. District Judge Carol Ling ordered probation and reformative training suitability reports before her judgment on May 9.
