Orangeburg police officer shoots man after he opens patrol vehicle door. A 29-year-old man, David Glover, approached an officer's parked patrol vehicle and opened the door, leading to a fight. The officer shot Glover in the hand. Glover was charged with breach of peace, aggravated in nature, and was booked at the Charleston County Detention Center. The State Law Enforcement Division is investigating the incident.
