62-year-old Brett Pruett was sentenced to three consecutive life sentences without parole for the 2020 triple homicide in Northeast Portland. Pruett had murdered three neighbors over a rental dispute and was found guilty of 11 counts of First Degree Murder, four counts of Unlawful Use of a Weapon, one count of First Degree Burglary, and one count of Second Degree Assault. The victims were identified as Larry Murphy, Elmer Hughes, and Tashia Cobb.
