30-year-old Brandon Scalf was arrested in Lincoln after pointing a pellet gun at police officers. The incident occurred on Friday near North 27th and Vine streets at around 10:20 p.m. Officers demanded that Scalf come out of the apartment building, but when he appeared with a long rifle pointed at them, an officer deployed a Taser, eventually shocking Scalf three times before he was taken into custody. Charges include unlawful discharge of a firearm, use of a firearm to commit a felony, and obstructing a police officer.
