25-year-old Staff Sgt. Charles Crumlett, an airman from Streamwood, Illinois, died in a workplace accident at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Alaska while working on F-22 Raptor fighter jets. Crumlett had lived in Alaska for just over a month and was a weapons load crew chief with the 90th Fighter Generation Squadron. The Air Force Office of Special Investigations is currently investigating the incident.
