Unilever, the multinational consumer goods company, plans to cut 7,500 jobs worldwide as part of a cost-saving plan to achieve €800m ($860m) in savings over three years. The company, which owns popular brands such as Dove, Lipton, and Hellmann's, will separate its ice cream unit, including Ben & Jerry's, Cornetto, and Magnum, into a separate business. The job cuts, affecting mainly office-based roles, will be completed over the next two years, and the company will invest in technology to boost productivity and save costs.
