2-time Cy Young winner Blake Snell has agreed to a two-year, $62 million contract with the San Francisco Giants, ending a three-season stint with the Padres. Snell, 31, had an impressive 2023 season, securing his second Cy Young Award with an NL-best 2.25 ERA, a 1.189 WHIP, and 234 strikeouts in 180 innings pitched. The Giants' signing of Snell follows recent acquisitions of outfielder Jung Hoo Lee and third baseman Matt Chapman.
