Tesla CEO Elon Musk has defended his use of ketamine, stating that it has been helpful in treating his occasional depressive episodes and has also been beneficial for investors in his companies. Speaking to former CNN anchor Don Lemon, Musk explained that he takes "a small amount once every other week" to treat "chemical tides" that trigger his depression. Musk also suggested that ketamine is helpful for getting out of a negative mindset. When asked if ketamine could interfere with his government contracts and his standing on Wall Street, Musk said no, adding that from the standpoint of Wall Street, what matters is execution. Musk also said that if there is something he's taking, it should be kept if it's helpful for investors.
