Spanish police trialled a robot "dog" in Malaga, designed by the University of Malaga over two years to support police work and detect traffic violations like electric scooters in prohibited areas. Remote-controlled for now, the green-and-black robot will eventually integrate AI to work independently, using 5G technology for image analysis and detecting dangerous situations.
