Report: S. Korea's Labor Supply to Begin to Decline from 2028.

South Korea's economically active population and employee numbers are predicted to decline starting in 2028 due to the country's low birth rate and aging population, according to the Korea Employment Information Service. The forecasted decline in the workforce may lead to a labor shortage in the future. The economically active population is expected to peak in 2027 at 29.49 million and fall to 29.24 million by 2032.
