Search for missing diver off Pātea coast suspended; extensive efforts by volunteers and community members in South Taranaki, Whanganui, and Manawatū areas failed to locate diver reported missing on March 10. An item believed to belong to the diver was found in the vicinity of the Whangaehu River mouth, south of Whanganui. Family and police thank volunteers for their time and energy.
