Retail tycoon Kishore Biyani has made a surprise Rs 476-crore offer to settle the debt of Bansi Mall Management, owner of SOBO Central Mall in Mumbai. Biyani's offer comes after he approached the Debts Recovery Tribunal (DRT) to challenge the lenders' decision to accept a Rs 475-crore bid from Runwal Group for the asset. Lenders are awaiting the court's decision, with a hearing scheduled later this month.
