Punjab Finance Minister Mian Mujtaba Shuja-ur-Rehman unveiled a "mini-budget" worth over Rs4.48 trillion for the province's fiscal year 2023-24. The budget includes allocations for various sectors, including health (Rs473.6 billion), education (Rs596 billion), construction (Rs382 billion), and local government projects (Rs127.7 billion). The budget session of the Punjab Assembly will also approve expenditures for the preceding eight months.
