Pedestrian dies in crash involving vehicle in Te Kōpuru, Northland. A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a vehicle on West Coast Rd, Te Kōpuru, in the Kaipara District. Emergency services attended the crash, which occurred around 3:07pm, but the pedestrian died at the scene. West Coast Rd remains closed while the Serious Crash Unit conducts a scene examination; motorists are advised to avoid the area.
