Nova Scotia RCMP arrested a man for an alleged assault and flight from peace officers. The incident began with a stopped red Silverado by Fisheries and Oceans Canada officers for the Fisheries Act. The vehicle allegedly fled, but no injuries occurred. Halifax Regional Police found the car and both the driver and passenger, both from Parrsboro, were arrested. The driver will appear in court on May 16 to face charges.
