New Zealand Symphony Orchestra (NZSO) will perform climate-themed percussion work "Losing Earth" by Adam Schoenberg, alongside Mahler's Fifth Symphony as part of their Mahler 5 program. NZSO Artistic Advisor and Principal Conductor Gemma New leads the concert, featuring Grammy-nominated percussionist Jacob Nissly. It's the first time "Losing Earth" is performed outside the U.S., with concerts in Wellington and Auckland.
