IIT Delhi and NUS researchers develop room-temp Spintronic Terahertz emitter for 6G communication, medical imaging, and wireless networks.

Researchers from IIT Delhi and National University of Singapore have developed a Spintronic Terahertz (THz) emitter, using a bilayer system of ferromagnetic and non-magnetic materials. This device can produce high-frequency radiation beyond 6G communication technologies and operates at room temperature. The emitter has potential applications in medical imaging, wireless networks, and internet connections.
