324 houses forfeited to Kano State pensioners by EFCC due to N4.1bn property fraud.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) handed over 324 houses to Kano State pensioners following a final forfeiture order granted by the Federal High Court in Abuja. The houses were part of an alleged N4.1 billion property fraud. EFCC's investigation revealed that the Kano State government and Pension Trust Fund agreed to build housing estates worth N41 billion, but the pensioners' contributions were misappropriated, leading to incomplete houses and their fraudulent sale.
