Harare man, Brian Rodney Baron, wins $1m loan case at Zimbabwe's Supreme Court. Baron loaned $900,000 to local companies Verdure Investments, Icenta Investments, and David Capsopolous in US dollars, but they attempted to repay in local currency. The High Court initially dismissed his claim, but the Supreme Court ruled in his favor, confirming that the respondents owe Baron the US$1m loan in US dollars.
