Gotion sues Green Charter Township in Michigan for revoking water infrastructure approval for a $2.36bn battery plant.
Electric vehicle battery maker Gotion has filed a lawsuit against Green Charter Township in Michigan, claiming the township breached its contract by revoking water infrastructure approval for a $2.36bn battery plant. Gotion, set to receive $715m in taxpayer subsidies, plans to build similar plants in Illinois and expand its EV supply chain across the US.
