Famed filmmaker SS Rajamouli announces his upcoming film SSMB29 with Mahesh Babu, currently in pre-production and set to be a modern, expansive adventure film similar to Indiana Jones. Starring Mahesh Babu as the main hero, the story could be inspired by the Ramayana with a Rajamouli twist. Filming is expected to begin in summer 2024. Deepika Padukone is rumored for a lead role.
