Borno State Governor authorizes 1bn Naira for teacher training in 27 local government areas.

Borno State Governor, Babagana Zulum, has authorized one billion naira for training teachers in the state's 27 local government areas. The training targets over 1,000 teachers who only have O-Level certificates and aims to help them acquire minimum teaching qualifications. Governor Zulum's administration has also focused on rebuilding school infrastructures to increase school enrollment.
