Firefighters were called to the scene at 1:32 p.m. on Sandmine Road and Ranck Road, and the fire was under control around 4:15 p.m. No injuries or damaged buildings were reported, and the area was reopened by 8 p.m. Over 50 units and departments from Chester County assisted in the response. Winds up to 30 mph contributed to the fire's rapid spread.
