25-year-old Trevin Bell stole a JPD cruiser during a mental health call, fled, and was later arrested.
25-year-old Trevin Bell, off his medication, stole a Jackson Police Department (JPD) cruiser at 2 a.m. on Violet Street. Officers responded to a mental health call and upon arrival, Bell jumped into an officer's patrol car and fled. The vehicle was later recovered at Walmart on Highway 18, and Bell was taken into custody.
