28-year-old Kiwi lawyer Mitch East dies in suspected hit-and-run in Sydney. East, who worked for major law firm Arnold Bloch Leibler, was found unconscious on Fletcher Street in Tamarama, Sydney, around 4am on Sunday. Police are searching for a white SUV captured on CCTV camera near the scene. East, originally from New Zealand, had previously worked as a solicitor for Meredith Connell and as a clerk to a New Zealand Supreme Court judge.
