Police in Lagos State arrested two traffic robbery suspects disguised as beggars who forcefully took a motorist's phone and jewellery during a gridlock. The motorist quickly alerted nearby police patrol officers, who apprehended the suspects. Additionally, a woman was arrested for attempting to use fake N1,000 notes in a N90,000 transaction at a Point of Sale (PoS) machine, leading to her detention for investigation.
