Terran Orbital Corp., a U.S. space tech company, enters the geosynchronous orbit (GEO) small satellite market with its SmallSat GEO solution for satellites over 500kg. The solution offers high power and performance for the comms sector and leverages a 94,000 sq ft manufacturing facility. It features adaptable payloads, steerable multi-beam arrays, and a faster, cheaper delivery timeline than traditional GEO systems. The company showcases this at the SATELLITE 2024 trade show.
