Vartdal, who previously served as Executive Vice President Nordics at Statkraft, will take over from Christian Rynning-Tønnesen, who is stepping down after 14 years. Vartdal will lead over 6,000 employees, focusing on renewable energy development and consolidating Statkraft's position as Norway's largest power producer.
