South Africa and Zimbabwe have signed a landmark agreement to address water supply challenges in Musina, Limpopo, by transferring treated water from Zimbabwe's Beitbridge Water Treatment Works. The medium-term solution aims to meet Musina's water needs and will involve the construction of a pipeline and pump stations to transfer 15 million cubic meters of treated water daily. The project, expected to be completed in 2026, will benefit both countries' populations and support regional economic development.
