Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) women's team led by Smriti Mandhana secured the Women's Premier League (WPL) 2024 title by defeating Delhi Capitals (DC) with an 8-wicket victory. This marked RCB's first-ever WPL title and their first championship win since their IPL debut in 2008. The victory was celebrated by fans, former RCB owner Vijay Mallya, and Indian cricket stars such as Virat Kohli, Yuzvendra Chahal, and Virender Sehwag.
