1963 Beatles debut record "Please Please Me" sold for £4,200+ at Cancer Research UK shop.
A rare Beatles vinyl record from their debut album "Please Please Me" was discovered in a Cancer Research UK charity shop in Enfield, London, and sold for over £4,200. The first pressing from the original masters of the 1963 album was initially valued at a few hundred pounds. The vinyl was in good condition but had some damage on the sleeve. Proceeds from the sale will go to Cancer Research UK.
