Pierce County deputies shot and killed an armed man wearing body armor in Tacoma, Washington. The incident occurred after the suspect, with a felony warrant, ran away with a gun. Officers pursued him and minutes later a radio call was made stating "shots fired." The suspect was found dead at the scene despite life-saving efforts from deputies. The Pierce County Force Investigation Team is currently handling the investigation.
