Nightcap, owner of Cocktail Club and Dirty Martini venues, reports growing losses and warns of challenging trading conditions since the start of the year. Despite this, CEO Sarah Willingham says the company has "gone through the worst of the downturn" and predicts a gradual recovery later this year due to expected reductions in inflation, energy costs and interest rates. Sales for the six months to December 31 reached £33.4m, up from £23.5m in the same period a year earlier.
