New Forest couple, Wayne and Natalie Noke, have been ordered to demolish their £100,000 house extension for their elderly parents after discovering it was built on Crown land. Despite having planning permission from their local council, Forestry England (FE) halted the construction, claiming the land does not belong to the couple. The Noke family now hopes for a compromise, considering a land swap, purchasing the land or changing the terms of the licence with FE.
