Launched by Minister Darragh O'Brien T.D., the Irish Tech Challenge 2024 fosters partnerships between South African and Irish start-ups, with funding from the Embassy of Ireland in SA, DSI, and TIA. The 2024 challenge aims to accelerate the growth of South African tech start-ups aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals. Selected start-ups receive €10,000 each in grant funding, a 10-day trip to Ireland, Ireland's top tech expertise, and business acceleration.
