A driver in Greater Noida, India, fell asleep at the wheel and crashed into a group of three men on the Yamuna Expressway, killing one and injuring two others. The driver, Raja Kumar, has been charged with causing death by negligence and granted bail. In 2023, Gautam Buddh Nagar reported 1,176 road accidents resulting in 470 deaths and injuries to 858 people.
