Catherine Mann reappointed to Bank of England's MPC for a second three-year term.
Catherine Mann, the most hawkish Bank of England policy maker, has been reappointed for a second three-year term on the interest-rate-setting Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) by the UK Treasury. Her first term was due to end in August, but she will now serve until August 2027. Mann, an international economist, was reappointed based on the current committee's diversity and balance of skills and experience.
