The Canadian Armed Forces will detonate explosives on Bentinck Island for three days, guided by strict mitigation measures to limit acoustic impact on marine mammals. The land-based demolition range is located off Rocky Point in Metchosin, near Race Rocks Ecological Reserve Island, and will be in use from March 20 to 22 between 9 am and 4 pm daily.
