Canada and Germany sign MoU to accelerate commercial-scale hydrogen trade and establish a hydrogen supply corridor.
Canada and Germany have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to accelerate commercial-scale hydrogen trade, supporting early access for Canadian hydrogen producers in the German market, and enhancing energy security. This first-of-its-kind bilateral program is part of a transatlantic hydrogen corridor and will enable Canadian producers to gain a first-mover advantage in the hydrogen market. The MOU supports the goals of the Canada-Germany Hydrogen Alliance, aiming to catalyze investments in hydrogen products, support the development of secure hydrogen supply chains, and establish a Canada-Germany supply corridor.
